how we work…
1. INQUIRY: It all begins with your inquiry, whether through our online form, email, or a quick phone chat. This is where we learn about your date, venue, vision, and bridal party needs.
2. CUSTOM PROPOSAL: We’ll prepare a tailored quote for your review, outlining services, artist recommendations, and any details specific to your day.
3. CONTRACT AND RETAINER: Once you’re ready to move forward, we’ll send you contract and retainer details. A signed contract and 50% non-refundable retainer officially secure your date.
4. YOU’RE OFFICIALLY BOOKED: From here, we’re available for communication, updates, and any questions that arise throughout your planning journey.
5. BRIDAL PREVIEW (Trial) Your trial can be scheduled at any time after booking, though we recommend 3–6 months before your wedding. Choose between our Signature or Luxe (ask for more details.) We host trials exclusively at our Downtown Roswell Studio. For out-of-town brides or those with limited availability, the Friday of wedding-weekend trial on-location is possible if scheduling earlier isn’t feasible.
6. FINAL PAYMENT: The remaining balance is due on the 1st of the month of your wedding (e.g., a May 15 wedding would have a final payment due May 1)
7. THE SCHEDULE: Your detailed beauty timeline will be sent 2 weeks before your wedding, ensuring a smooth, stress-free morning. If you’d like it earlier for planning purposes, just ask.
8. YOUR WEDDING DAY: Your artist team will arrive promptly, ready to create your look in a calm, joyful environment. Every detail will be taken care of so you can relax and savor the moment.
9. AFTER THE DAY: Don’t be a stranger! We’d love to hear from you. We love seeing and sharing your professional photos (with permission) and hearing about your favorite memories. If you feel inclined, we would be so grateful for a review on Google and/or The Knot, it helps other brides find us and experience the same care you did.
the fine print
TIMING AND SCHEDULE
The beauty schedule is created by Megan and structured around the timing that makes the most sense for everyone. Early-morning fees apply if services need to begin before 8:00 AM. Appointment windows are typically 30–60 minutes, depending on the service and look complexity.
ADDITIONAL ARTISTS
For groups of 8 or more, or when the timeline is limited, Jolie will hire additional support.
Makeup assistants prep skin and create a base so the lead artist can focus on detail work.
Hair assistants curl and prep hair so the lead stylist can shape and finish the style.
Second artists complete full looks or styles as needed to keep the morning running smoothly.
If an assistant or second artist is required to accommodate your group or timeline, an additional fee will apply. This decision may be finalized once all details are set and the availability of artists. Fees for assistants and second artists start at $250.
DAY OF MINIMUMS
Each artist has a personal day-of minimum of $900 to be booked. If an artist’s minimum is not met, a gap fee will be added to reach the minimum. Gap-fee slots can be filled with additional services at any time at no extra charge.
There are no minimums for Monday–Thursday elopements or weddings. Minimums do not include travel, gratuity, or trial fees.
TRAVEL
Travel fees are custom per artist and are based on arrival time, distance, and total travel time from each artist’s home base to your getting-ready location. For events 2 hours or more away, overnight accommodations the night before are required to ensure on-time arrival the next morning.
BOOKING
We book on a first-come, first-served basis. If your preferred artist is already booked, we are happy to recommend another talented Jolie artist and can arrange a trial.
A 50% non-refundable retainer and a signed contract are required to reserve your date. Dates cannot be held without both items on file. The remaining 50% balance is due on the first day of your wedding month. All payments for all services must be submitted by one person.
GRATUITY
Gratuity is always appreciated. You may add it to your final invoice or provide it directly to your artists by cash or check. If you prefer to tip digitally, your prep email will include each artist’s Venmo handle.
